Throughout this journey, he acted as external auditor for major international groups, banks, traditional and alternative investment funds, as well as professionals of the financial sector (PSFs).

With FSCC, Sébastien leverages his extensive Big Four experience to deliver a tailor-made approach built on quality, transparency, and client service.

Today, as CEO of FSCC, he pursues a clear objective: to bring client service and execution quality back to the heart of Luxembourg’s financial offering, while supporting funds, companies, and entrepreneurs in a constantly evolving regulatory and financial environment.

Laurent Godefroid has more than 27 years of experience in Luxembourg’s financial industry, with a career spanning fund administration, investor services, and governance. He began in fund accounting and administration before expanding into transfer agent activities, AML/CTF controls, and investor due diligence. This operational background gave him a strong understanding of the practical challenges faced by investment vehicles and their managers.

He went on to hold senior roles at leading institutions such as Société Générale Securities Services, Credit Suisse Securities Services, and Creand, where he developed deep expertise in both regulated and unregulated structures, including UCITS, AIFs, RAIFs, SOPARFIs, and SCSp.

Today, Laurent serves as Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for several regulated AIFs and acts as an independent board member on Luxembourg investment vehicles. Certified by the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA), he is recognized for his pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach and his commitment to high standards of governance and investor protection.

As co-founder of FSCC, Laurent leverages his operational know-how and entrepreneurial vision to deliver tailored fiduciary services — from domiciliation and accounting to board mandates, AML/CTF reviews, and liquidation processes. Together with his partner, he has positioned FSCC as a boutique firm focused on quality, compliance, and client-first solutions for non-regulated investment vehicles and private wealth structures.
